How it Works
How do I get started?
Click Begin Eligibility to complete a brief questionnaire. Once submitted you’ll you’ll schedule a Welcome Call where we’ll review your goals, answer questions, and determine whether A Better Lou is the right fit for your needs.
Do I need to visit a clinic?
No. All care is delivered by telehealth. If your plan includes lab work, a licensed Nurse will come directly to your home for bloodwork. So you never have to leave the comfort of your home.
Is the plan the same for everyone?
No, There are no pre-set plans. All clinical recommendations are made individually and tailored to you.. Some clients may focus solely on education and lifestyle guidance, while others may qualify for additional medical support.
Where are your services available?
Services are delivered by telehealth to clients located in Arizona at the time of their appointment.

The Metabolic Signature is our comprehensive bloodwork and biomarker panel that helps identify how your metabolism is functioning at a deeper level. It goes far beyond routine labs to reveal patterns of inflammation, hormones, nutrition status, cardiometabolic health, and more. Your clinician(s) uses these insights to design a tailored plan that supports weight loss, energy, performance, and long term vitality.
Is this considered medical treatment?
Yes,Your physician may provide medical evaluation, clinical recommendations, prescriptions, and ongoing monitoring, as appropriate Some members use only educational and lifestyle services, while others qualify for additional medical support. Your plan is always determined individually and only after a formal clinical evaluation.
How secure is my data?
Your information is protected using HIPAA compliant systems for communication, telehealth, data storage, and electronic medical records. Access is limited to the clinicians and team members directly involved in your care. We never sell or share your health data. Your privacy and security are central to how A Better Lou operates.
Membership & Support
What is included in my membership?
Your membership includes physician oversight, advanced diagnostics, ongoing transformation advisor sessions, telehealth physical therapy when appropriate, and personalized guidance across nutrition, habits, and performance. Depending on your evaluation, your plan may also include prescription therapies such as GLP-1s, testosterone support, or targeted peptides. Every component is tailored to you and monitored throughout your journey.
Can I cancel?
You may request to cancel at any time, in accordance with the terms in your membership agreement.
How does support work?
You will be paired with a dedicated team that includes your physician, transformation advisor, and physical therapist. Support is delivered through telehealth visits, secure messaging, and scheduled check-ins to review progress, adjust your plan, and ensure you stay on track. You are never left to figure things out on your own.

Will I know if I’m a good fit before committing?
Yes. Your journey begins with a welcome call where we review your goals, health history, and expectations. This helps you understand exactly how the membership works and whether our approach is appropriate for you. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you upfront.
How soon can I expect to see progress?
Every member progresses at a different pace, but most people begin noticing meaningful changes within the first few months as lab insights, lifestyle guidance, and medical support come together. Your team tracks your biomarkers, weight, energy, and overall wellbeing so adjustments can be made along the way. The goal is steady, sustainable progress rather than quick fixes.
Which pharmacy fills prescriptions?
If a prescription is issued, it is filled and shipped by Medivera Compounding Pharmacy (mediverarx.com), PCAB accredited and LegitScript certified.
How are medications prescribed?
Medications are considered only after a telehealth evaluation with a licensed clinician. There is no guarantee of medication. All treatment decisions are based on clinical appropriateness for the individual.
