How does billing work?

Your first month is $199.99. It covers your provider visit and bloodwork and is not refundable. If hormone replacement therapy is prescribed, it is $199.99 a month from month 2, and you can cancel anytime. If it is not prescribed, your membership ends and you are never charged again.
What does $199.99 a month include?

From month 2, one inclusive price covers your Tasso+ lab kits and bloodwork review, your provider visits and time, your hormone replacement medication when prescribed, and shipping. Your four coaching sessions with Ed Pienkosz are included too.
Do I need to go to a lab?

No. You collect your sample at home on your upper arm with the Tasso+ device and send it back with the prepaid label.
What comes in the ABL box?

Your prescribed hormone replacement therapy for the month, in the form your provider chooses (for example an injection, an estradiol gel or tablets, progesterone, or vaginal estradiol), shipped to your door if prescribed from a licensed U.S. pharmacy partner such as Medivera or another LegitScript-certified pharmacy. If a compounded medication is prescribed, compounded drugs are not FDA-approved.
Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, after your first month. Cancel by emailing support@abetterlou.com or calling us; cancellation stops future monthly charges at the end of your billing period. Your first month is not refunded.
Is ABL Women’s HRT available in my state?

ABL Women’s HRT is available to women in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, North Dakota, Pennsylvania and Utah. Enter your state during checkout to confirm.
What are common symptoms of perimenopause and menopause?

Hot flashes and night sweats, trouble sleeping, mood swings or anxiety, brain fog, vaginal dryness or painful sex, joint aches, lower libido, and weight that settles around the middle. Symptoms can overlap with thyroid, sleep and stress issues, so medical evaluation matters.
Do I need a lab test to diagnose menopause?

Not always. Menopause is usually identified from your age, your cycle history and your symptoms; labs help rule out other causes and check safety before prescribing. Your provider reads your results together with your symptoms and history, and prescribes only when the evaluation supports it.
Is hormone replacement therapy safe?

For many healthy women with bothersome symptoms, especially those who start before age 60 or within 10 years of menopause, the benefits can outweigh the risks. It is not right for everyone: your provider screens for breast and other estrogen-sensitive cancers, blood clots, stroke, heart disease, liver disease and undiagnosed bleeding, and monitors you during treatment.
